Clubs are an important part of the total Student Services program. It is hoped that students will find organizations of interest to them. New clubs are easy to form. For assistance in organizing, students are encouraged to stop by the Student Services Office, Room 1000, MacMillan Hall, or the Associated Students of Mendocino College (ASMC) Office, Quad, Room 110, both on the Ukiah Campus.
The following procedures should be followed in organizing student clubs:
- Stop by the Dean of Students Office or the ASMC for a club registration packet
- To register as a club you will need:
- A Statement of Purpose
- Names and SS#s of at least 5 currently MC registered students
- A campus faculty or staff advisor
- A list of officers
- A Constitution (a sample format is available in the registration packet )
These clubs and organizations exist for interested students to exercise leadership abilities and to provide students with contemporary social activities and cultural events of interest. All are encouraged to take advantage of these learning opportunities available at Mendocino College.
