ORIENTATION

Orientation will ease your transition to Mendocino College; provides you with information on college programs, services, policies and procedures; and depending on the time of year you can receive priority registration. Please be aware that  you will be able to register 48 hours after completing the online orientation. Attend a New Student Orientation or Online Orientation.

EASY STEPS TO BECOME A COLLEGE STUDENT 

  1.  Complete an on-line admissions application at  http://www.cccapply.org/Applications/CCCApply/apply.html?application_id=1648w.Mendocino.edu.  (Note: Paper applications are available if needed from the Ukiah Campus Admissions and Records Office or the Willits or Lake Centers.)
     
  2. Log into WebAdvisor 24 hours after completing your application.

  3. Take the Online Orientation or attend On Campus Orientation. Please call to reserve a spot for On Campus Orientations - Ukiah: (707) 468-3048, Lake Center: (707) 263-4944, or Willits Center: (707) 459-6224.

  4. Take the English and Math placement tests.
    Make an appointment by calling the Learning Center Ukiah: (707) 468-3046, Lake Center: (707) 263-4944, or Willits Center: (707) 459-6224.
     
  5. Schedule a Counseling Appointment by calling the Counseling Office Ukiah: (707) 468-3048, Lake Center: (707) 263-4944, or Willits Center: (707) 459-6224. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR HIGH SCHOOL OR OTHER COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT WITH YOU TO YOUR COUNSELING APPOINTMENT. CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SHOULD BRING IN THEIR STAR TEST RESULTS.

    6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:     
  •  Need help paying for your classes? Complete a Board of Governor’s (BOG) Fee Waiver Application. Note: Paper BOG Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office, Willits, or Lake Centers.
     
  • Get more financial assistance!
    File a FREE Application for Federal Student Aid at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. For more information, call the Financial Aid Office at 468-3110.
