The Lady Eagle softball team welcomes you!
Welcome from the Lady Eagle Softball team. Mendocino Softball has become a very successful program, finishing second and third in our conference in 2003 and 2004. We set a school record for wins for three successive years. By winning over 60 games the last three years, the Lady Eagles is developing one of the school's most successful athletic programs. During this period, we have also placed all of our sophomores in four year programs. Each has received an athletic scholarship, financial aid, or both. Several have received "full rides" to D-2 and NAIA schools.
We are located in beautiful Mendocino county, two hours North of San Francisco, off Highway 101 in Northern California. The communities of Lake and Mendocino counties have a reputation for hospitality and friendliness. Mendocino College, nestled in the foothills of the Mendocino forest, provides a quality educational opportunity in an area that boasts of recreational activities including golf (on one of the areas six courses), fishing (Three lakes, streams, or ocean), water skiing, biking country roads past vineyards and orchards, tennis, off road biking and four wheeling, hiking and much more.
Like the ocean? The town of Ft. Bragg and the Mendocino coast are an hour away for surfing, fine dining, beach combing, or just watching beautiful sunsets.
The college has an enrollment of 1000 full-time students (5,000 total students), yet competes in the Bay Valley Conference with schools with enrollments as large as 20,000 full time students. We offer the atmosphere and advantage of small classes and personal attention where students and faculty know each other by their first names. The Mendocino College family invites you to come visit our campus in Ukiah California and discover what we have to offer you.
