 Welcome to the Mendocino College Transcripts and Degree  Verification information page.  This page will help you find out how to access your Unofficial Mendocino College transcript, to order your OFFICIAL Mendocino College Transcript and receive your Degree Verification.

To access your unofficial transcript, log into WebAdvisor, using your first name.last name in all lower case letters for your User ID and your six digit date of birth for your initial password.  If you need assistance accessing your WebAdvisor account, please send an email to webaccess@mendocino.edu or call 707-468-3101.   After logging in, click on the "Students" button and then select "Transcript."  Leave the Transcript Type as UG, and press the Submit button.  To print your unofficial transcript, click on the print option in your internet browser. 

Note: Students who wish an official transcript of grades must still submit a written request, with appropriate fees, to the Office of Admissions and Records as specified below.

REQUESTING OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

When a student requests an official transcript, only the Mendocino College transcript is sent.  The transcript will include all coursework completed at Mendocino College including in progress coursework for currently enrolled students.  If transcripts from other colleges have been evaluated and accepted for credit at Mendocino College, a notation of TRANSFER WORK is included on the Mendocino College transcript along with the units completed.  Please note:  Students need to contact each individual college to have their official transcripts sent. 

A General Education Certification evaluation will be completed upon request.  Please be sure to check the appropriate area of the Transcript Request Form or include this information in your written request.

Transcripts will not be issued until all outstanding accounts with the College are paid. 

The first two copies of official transcripts ordered are free of charge, after that, each copy is $2.00 for regular processing (completed within 15 business days) or $5.00 per copy for rush processing (completed within 5 business days).  Fees can be paid by cash (in person processing only), check or credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted).  Same day processing is not currently available for transcript requests.

Telephone service is available to assist with questions; however, transcript requests cannot be accepted via the telephone 707-468-3101.

Mendocino College offers four ways to request your OFFICIAL transcripts:

By Email

Requests for official transcripts can be placed by email to: transcript@mendocino.edu  

Print, complete and scan the Transcript Request Form or send an email and include the following information in the body of your email: 

  1. Name (and any former names used at MC.)
  2. Address (current.)
  3. Daytime telephone number. 
  4. Student I.D. # or Social Security # and Date of Birth.
  5. Dates of attendance.
  6. Number of transcripts requested.
  7. Name and address where each transcript should be sent.
  8. Please type your full name at end of email, and if necessary, include payment information.  Payment can be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

By Fax

Requests for official transcripts can be placed by fax to 707-468-3430.  Print and complete the Transcript Request Form or write a letter with the following information: 

  1. Name (and any former names used at MC.)
  2. Address (current.)
  3. Daytime telephone number.
  4. Student I.D. # or Social Security # and Date of Birth.
  5. Dates of attendance.
  6. Number of transcripts requested.
  7. Name and address where each transcript should be sent.
  8. Please sign the request, and if necessary, include payment information.  Payment can be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. 

By Mail

In Person Service

Requests for official transcripts may be submitted at the locations below during regular business hours.  Official transcripts are not printed on demand and requests will be processed in the order received and within the timeframe associated with the type of processing requested. Please note same day processing is not available for transcript requests.

E-Transcripts

Mendocino College can send transcripts electronically to schools participating in E-Transcript California.  Click here to see which California schools are accepting electronic transcripts.  To participate in this service, please submit your request using one of the above methods and indicate the request is for an E-Transcript.  After a student has received their first two transcripts free, a fee of $5 will be charged for each E-Transcript request.

DEGREE VERIFICATION

Mendocino College has entered into a formal agency agreement with National Student Clearinghouse, of Herndon, Virginia, to provide written verifications of degrees and past attendance for inquires at our institution. National Student Clearinghouse shall respond to inquiries for verification of degrees awarded and confirmation of past attendance. National Student Clearinghouse has been granted the authority to respond to all such requests from interested parties on our behalf. Mendocino College warrants that the results of the inquiries delivered by National Student Clearinghouse acting as our agent, are based on our records. National Student Clearinghouse should be considered as a primary source provider for verification of degrees and confirmation of attendance of graduates as well as past or present attendees of Mendocino College, just as if the information had been provided directly by the Office of the Registrar.
