How to Advocate As A Foster Parent

What is an advocate? How do I do that? What role does an advocate play? This workshop will teach you what you need to know in order to best help your foster child in school, court (yes, you have a voice here) and other areas as well. Come learn with us and gain the confidence you'll want for the job!

Trainer: Sheryn Hildebrand is Executive Director of CASA of Mendocino County, and the Regional Coordinator for the North Coast Child Abuse Prevention Coalition. Sheryn works closely with the State Office of Child Abuse Prevention as well as locally as commissioner on the Mendocino County Policy Council for Children and Youth.

Please call to Pre-Register 707.468.3168

Trainings are free and made possible by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office
