Exploration of the special demands of non-realistic and poetic drama. Students rehearse and perform a variety of contemporary and classical scenes, including the works of Shakespeare, Moliere and the Greek tragedian. Special topics such as improvisation, vocal production, physicalization, commedia del arte, stage combat, and audition techniques may also be included as they relate to the material being studied.
