Study and performance of selected small-scale orchestral literature. Emphasis will be placed on repertoire scored for an ensemble with multiple part duplication. Includes an emphasis on the development of an appreciation for the integrity of both emotional and intellectual responses to the assigned musical literature. Student must demonstrate an ability to read printed music at sight on an orchestral instrument. Attendance at scheduled rehearsals and performances is required.
