Includes the study and performance of chamber works written for various woodwind instrument combinations. The repertoire selected will represent all style periods and will include literature with instrumentation ranging from the standard woodwind quintet to saxophone quartet. Includes an emphasis on the development of an appreciation for the integrity of both emotional and intellectual responses to music of Western and non-Western cultures. Student must audition and demonstrate ability to play music at sight. Attendance at scheduled rehearsals and performances is required.
