This course provides instruction on the knowledge and skills of providing
basic first aid as the first link in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
system. Methods of instruction will coordinate lecture with hands-on
skill demonstration and practice of first aid techniques. Satisfactory
completion of the course will entitle the student to certification in
Basic First Aid (valid for 3 years).
