IT Essentials II is a lab-based course designed to be an overview of
Network Operating Systems. This course introduces and covers how to use
the Linux operating system and introduces you to the K Desktop Environment
(KDE) and GNU Network Object Model (GNOME). An overview of the Windows
2000 Network Operating System is provided as well. The course covers
concepts in TCP/IP processes and network administration. The student will
learn the configuration of network services, including basic network
security and troubleshooting.
