Overview of laws regulating services to infants and toddlers with special
needs. Students will learn strategies to adapt childcare program
environments and routines for infants and toddlers with special needs.
Students will learn to use a standardized screening tool to identify young
children at risk of developmental delay. Strategies for building
partnerships with parents and Early Intervention Personnel will be
explored.
