Fundamental natural history and taxonomy of insects, mites, spiders, and
related arthropods; identification, habits, life cycles, and
characteristics of main groups. Laboratory and field work emphasize
proper techniques of preparation of a collection. Course may not meet
major requirements at transfer institutions. See your counselor for more
