Special Topics are designed to provide students with special skills,
knowledge and an opportunity to explore emerging topics and/or
technologies. Special Topics is a series of continuing education courses
meeting continued professional training requirements, perishable skills
program requirements, or legislative mandates, as required for Peace
Officers by the California Commission on Peace Officer's Standards and
Training (POST) and/or the California Standards and Training for
Corretions (STC).
