Duplessis signs with Jackson State

Eagle shortstop Sabien Duplessis signed a national letter of intent today with Jackson State University, an NCAA Division 1 program. Duplessis becomes the third Eagle to sign this year after a stellar year, and being one of the premier shortstops in the entire state. In 33 games this year he tallied only 6 errors.

 

McBurney signs with CSU Monterrey

Mendocino College left-fielder/lead-off hitter, Eric McBurney signed a NLOI today with Monterrey State University, an NCAA Div II institution in the powerhouse CCAA conference. Eric is coming off being a two-year starter at MC, and is an academic honor-roll guy.

 

Packard signs with CSU Monterrey

Randall Packard became the first Eagle to earn a scholarship for the 2011 season, when he signed with Monterrey State in the early signing period. "Pack" has been a tw-year starter at MC playing first base and hitting in the middle of the line-up.
