Mendocino College supports the belief that athletics are an important segment of the total educational process. Mendocino College is a member of the Bay Valley Conference. Other colleges in the Bay Valley Conference include: Alameda, Contra Costa, Laney, Los Medanos, Marin, Merritt, Napa, Solano, and Yuba College.
Mendocino College adheres to Commission on Athletics Constitution and Bay Valley Conference eligibility rules and regulations. Final eligibility decisions rest with the Bay Valley Conference Commissioner of the California Association of Community College (CACC) Commission on Athletics and the Northern California Football Alliance (NCFA).
