Course Description

To survey United States federal government, with focus on principles, institutions, policies and politics at both the national and state levels.  The course is an introductory college-level class oriented towards students with no prior college experience.

  • Estimated Time per Week: Students can expect to spend approximately 8 to 10 hours per week reading, writing, and taking quizzes and participating in online class discussions.
  • Special Requirements: Log into Etudes the first day of class, must have textbooks 1st day of class, must have on-line access to Mendocino College Library on-line databases

  • Additional Comments: The entire course will be conducted online through the Etudes program. Students are required to have Internet access, an active email account, the ability to use word processing, conduct Internet searches, attach files, send emails, and work independently.

You need to do this on each computer you use while taking a class through ETUDES.

Last 5 digits of Student COLLEAGUE ID
(Type using all lower case letters)
Example:
    Jose A. Garcia

    Username = joga21945

Default Password: Month Day of birth in school records
 
(Type using all lower case letters)
Example:
Birthday is April 11th, 1982 (04/11/82)
Password = 0411

You will be prompted to create a "strong" password, if you are a returning student use the same password you previously created.
