Spring 2011 Health 200 (3 units)
Section 4419 Class Begins January 2011
Course Description
The course is designed to study the different aspects of total health, using an on-line method. This class will explore the biological, psychological, sociological dimensions leading to optimal health. It will also explore the legal, moral and ethical aspects of health practices in the United States. There are twenty-three chapters with various themes presented in the text “Access to Health”
Recommended Prep: (if needed) English 80 or placement into English 200 through assessment process

- Textbook Information: Access to Health (11th edition/ Green Edition), by Rebecca Donnatelle, Pearson/Benjamin Cummings Publishing
- Special Requirements: Email the instructor after you sign up for the class. Log into Etudes the first day of class (1/24).
- Additional Comments: The entire course will be conducted online through the Etudes program. Students are required to have Internet access, an active email account, the ability to use word processing, conduct Internet searches, attach files, send emails, and work independently.

Here is a flash tutorial (Flash presentation opens in a new window) that demonstrates the log in protocol. Be sure to check System Requirements before getting started with Etudes. You need to do this on each computer you use while taking a class through Etudes.
