Course Description

Application of the theoretical basis of health behavior to everyday life.  Critical thinking skills such as writing and small group discussions are used to emphasize lifelong learning concerning health decisions.

  • Estimated Time per Week:  Students can expect to spend approximately 6 to 8 hours per week reading, writing, and taking quizzes and participating in online class discussions.
  • Special Requirements: Log into Etudes the first day of class (8/17).  Computer with programs compatible to this course are required as well as an internet connection (dial up not recommended) and an email address.  
  • Assignments & Tests: This course will consist of various assignments (worksheets, discussions, assess yourself, research reports) and quizzes. This is a full semester course condensed into 6 weeks!
